We are currently seeking a full‑time Counselor Assistant to join our dedicated outpatient clinical team. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related behavioral health field OR Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related behavioral health field OR Current CADC or CAADC certification
  • Regular local travel to partner schools during working hours
  • Ability to travel independently between sites
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mental health, substance use disorder, or co‑occurring disorder treatment
  • Knowledge of ethical, professional clinical practices
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, state licensing regulations, and CARF standards
  • Ability to manage crises calmly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented clinical environment
  • Possession of strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with schools in the area to provide prevention, education and therapy to students and staff
  • Conduct client level of care assessments and assist with individualized treatment plan development
  • Support daily clinical operations as a team player
  • Maintain an assigned caseload with timely, accurate clinical documentation
  • Attend staff meetings, clinical supervision, and required company meetings
  • Assist leadership with program coverage and service coordination
  • Maintain compliant and organized client files and documentation that upholds state standards
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed while maintaining a safe, structured, therapeutic environment
  • Actively listen and support clients throughout all stages of treatment and recovery
  • Complete required trainings and maintain mandatory continuing education hours
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
