About The Position

This role involves assisting show performers with costumes, managing a large inventory, performing light sewing repairs, and handling laundry. Daily venue procedures, including cleaning, organization, and inventory, are also key responsibilities. In some instances, stagehand duties during shows may be required. The position also includes receiving, sorting, and putting away costumes and laundry, as well as completing various paperwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• Previous theater/costuming experience
• Multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
• Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts
• A valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist show performers with costumes before and after shows
• Create venue documents
• Preset a large inventory of costumes daily based off cast schedules
• Perform light sewing repairs
• Hand and machine wash a large volume of costumes daily
• Perform daily venue procedures including cleaning, organization and inventory
• In some cases, perform stagehand duties during shows
• Receive, sort, and put away laundry/costumes
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork
