About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Requirements
- Willingness to be trained on shop equipment (sewing machines, sergers, irons, steamers)
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Must be a UND student.
Responsibilities
- Construct, alter, and repair costumes according to designer specifications (patterning, cutting, sewing, fitting)
- Assist with dyeing, distressing, and painting fabric/costume pieces
- Pull costumes from stock and organize/maintain the costume storage areas
- Assist with fittings for cast members, taking measurements and notes
- Support wardrobe crew during dress rehearsals and performances (quick changes, repairs, laundry/maintenance of costumes during the run)
