About The Position

As a Costing and Production Manager at Centric Brands, you’ll drive product costing strategies that support pricing, margin, and profitability goals across a diverse portfolio. Blending analytical rigor with cross-functional collaboration, you’ll evaluate cost components, identify efficiencies, and partner with sourcing, production, and finance teams to ensure accuracy and optimize outcomes. Your insights will directly influence key business decisions—making this a high-impact role at the intersection of product and performance.

Requirements

  • Strong advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, scenario modeling)
  • Understanding of product development and production processes
  • Experience supporting seasonal product calendars

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage product costing across brands and seasonal calendars to support pricing and margin targets
  • Analyze cost breakdowns including materials, labor, trims, packaging, freight, and duties
  • Conduct margin and profitability analysis across brands, channels, and seasonal assortments
  • Identify cost discrepancies between vendor quotes, historical pricing, and internal projections
  • Run financial scenarios and pricing simulations to support business decisions
  • Track and analyze FOB, landed cost, IMU, and margin performance
  • Partner with production and sourcing teams to evaluate vendor quotes and cost changes
  • Support cost negotiations and cost reduction initiatives with factories and suppliers
  • Collaborate with FP&A and finance teams on margin forecasting and reporting
  • Maintain costing accuracy across multiple brands and seasonal calendars
  • Assist in identifying efficiencies in costing processes and reporting
