About The Position

Turner & Townsend are seeking an ambitious Cost Support Engineer to join our prestigious technology client’s rapidly growing Data Center Tech Ops team. This role offers a chance to be a key player in shaping the built environment within a team of innovative professionals. The position requires a motivated individual to collaborate closely with global construction teams and various internal departments, including Site Development, Energy, Design, Construction Execution & Close Out via Change Orders, and Purchase Order Analytics, utilizing both Opex and Capex Budgets. The ideal candidate will be a proven professional familiar with working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, preferably within the Tech Industry. This role is 100% remote, demanding a strong understanding of operational processes and procedures related to compliance within the Client’s Organization. The Cost Support Engineer will work closely with global technical operation teams for the client's infrastructure teams, requiring excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills in a highly collaborative setting. The Cost Support Engineer will work closely with leaders within multiple Client Groups and other project team members. This CSE Team operates under a High-Performance Project Team model, emphasizing clear operating rules through collaboration, shared goals, and purpose. The CSE Team’s Mission Statement is: “Cost Support (CSE) Team will partner with Client’s Business Operations Teams to champion Client’s end to end contracting/change management processes through collaboration and effective communication.”

  • Ability to prioritize and use available tools to be productive and manage high volumes.
  • Unifier, Procore, Oracle, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint skills.
  • Construction/Contracting/Finance/Accounting Background.
  • BA/BS.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and vendors within the Clients Technical Operations organization.
  • Effectively communicate with the Technical Operations partners ensuring the necessary clarity is provided.
  • Ensure that developed Operational Process and Procedures are utilized by applying best practices as a T&T partner.
  • Interface and coordinate all activities in a timely manner with the Business Partners to meet the SLAs.
  • Draft Contract Templates related to Change Management.
  • Review assigned contracts for errors.
  • Route contracts via DocuSign according to client's Approval Authority Matrix.
  • Prepare the workflow routing in the Client’s contracting software system.
  • Audit and update contract tracker to keep contracts moving along.
  • Collaborate directly with Contracts and Legal team to ensure document compliance.
  • Facilitate change order routing and review processes within project management software, content analysis, and executive approval as required.
  • Ensure understanding of Schedule of Values and Schedule as it relates to change within the Contract.
  • Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts.
  • Report non-compliance.
  • Lead in the development of programmatic initiatives, training, and alignment opportunities.
  • Administer general office duties.
