About The Position

From our Torrance, California facility, Intellisense Systems engineers advanced technology for ground, maritime, and airborne platforms operating in some of the most demanding environments on Earth. We’re a fast-growing Southern California defense innovator solving mission-critical challenges for the U.S. aerospace and defense community and we need a seasoned Cost and Pricing Manager to help us price and negotiate new awards. As our Cost & Pricing Manager – Government Contracts, you will own the full pricing lifecycle as an individual contributor: building certified cost or pricing data packages for $10M+ proposals, and partnering across the organization to improve P-wins and mitigate company risk. Your decisions will directly shape which programs Intellisense wins and executes. This is an on-site role located in Torrance, CA

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • 2+ years of experience in estimating, pricing, and contract administration in a high-tech or complex manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of FAR Part 15 and the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data statute (TINA) with experience preparing certified cost or pricing data submissions
  • Proficiency with PROPRICER or equivalent pricing tools; experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Math, or a related field
  • Negotiation, collaboration, and communication skills across all levels of an organization

Responsibilities

  • Build cost and pricing models in PROPRICER for development and production proposals, including complete certified cost or pricing data packages (SF 1411 / Table 15-2) for TINA-subject submissions ($10M+)
  • Conduct cost analysis, trend analysis, and what-if modeling to balance price competitiveness with program margin targets
  • Enhance standard work breakdown structures during proposal development to ensure cost granularity supports downstream performance management
  • Negotiate and administer CPFF and FFP contracts.
  • Prepare and negotiate NDAs, and development/production contracts
  • Administer post-award obligations: limitation of funds/cost notifications, and contract modifications
  • Collaborate with General Managers, Business Development, and Engineering to structure deals, improve P-win rates, and mitigate risk across the program portfolio
