About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Cost Management Intern to join our New York, NY office. This role involves performing material pricing investigations, reviewing cost management outputs for errors, assisting cost managers with scope and schedule assessments, performing cost data analytics and modeling, and supporting the preparation of cost reports.

Requirements

  • Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering, architecture, construction management, finance or related program degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Spring 2027).
  • Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
  • Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform material pricing investigations
  • Review cost management outputs for math/logic errors
  • Assist cost managers with cost related assessments of scope and schedule
  • Perform cost data analytics review and modeling, as required
  • Support in the preparation of cost reports
