About The Position

That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure the United States Air Force's resources can make the most impact. As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help the Air Force program office succeed. You’ll work with program office leadership and integrated product teams to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with program office leadership. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with lifecycle cost analysis for Air Force clients through creation of cost estimates for acquisition programs such as development, production, or sustainment using cost estimating relationships (CERs) and statistical methods
  • Experience performing risk-adjusted cost analyses, sensitivity analyses, and parametric modeling using cost estimating tools and methodologies such as ACEIT, Crystal Ball, or SEER
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
  • Ability to ensure cost estimates align with Department of War and Air Force cost estimation policies, including DoDI 5000.73
  • Ability to utilize computer software such as Microsoft Excel to develop tools and databases for program cost estimating for Air Force programs
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and provide and explain analyses, findings, and recommendations to senior program office leadership
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or Economics
