We are seeking a Cost Estimator to join our team in a remote capacity, supporting semiconductor construction projects. Travel to the Santa Clara, CA project site is required as needed. In this role, you will support cost estimating efforts across semiconductor construction projects, working alongside experienced team members to develop accurate estimates and cost plans. Requirements

• 3-7 years of cost estimating experience within construction, preferably in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Experience working on cost estimates in a semiconductor construction environment.
• Solid understanding of construction estimating principles, methods and tools.
• Enjoy applying your analytical skills to investigate and interpret technical data.
• Excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
• Excel in a collaborative and friendly team environment.
• Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the review and analysis of contractor bids to help ensure client value for money.
• Assist in developing cost estimates and cost plans for key client projects.
• Evaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gaps.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
• Optimize project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates to increase client value.
• Provide estimating support throughout the design and construction stages of the projects.
• Assist in building trust and credibility with partners across the business, from 3rd parties to client specialists to contractors and consultants.
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
