Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cost control, project engineering, project management, or related field
• Knowledge of industry regulations and financial best practices
• Familiarity with construction accounting and job costing

Nice To Haves

• MBA or CPA preferred
• Heavy Highway Construction experience - preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control strategies and plans to support the company's financial objectives
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and financial plans
• Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cost control practices and processes
• Provide leadership and mentorship to cost control staff
• Other duties as assigned
