Major Responsibilities: Analyze and report on transportation costs, including fuel, labor, maintenance, and other operational expenses. Develop and maintain cost models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Monitor cost variances and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with various departments to gather data and provide insights on cost management. Prepare detailed cost analysis reports and presentations for management. Assist in the development and implementation of cost control procedures and policies. Conduct periodic reviews of cost allocation methodologies and recommend adjustments as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college/university in a concentration requiring analytical rigor (such as: business, economics, finance, logistics/supply chain management, etc.) Preferred 1 year of work experience in the transportation industry Strong understanding of transportation principles, economics, and supply chain network behavior Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
