About The Position

This position is responsible for accurately calculating and quoting the total costs associated with parts and service repairs, and maintenance. This includes identifying and understanding contract requirements, determining key variables, and providing recommendations based on technical knowledge with internal and external customers. Additionally, this position is also responsible for ensuring all charges are accurately reflected against contracts. This requires collaboration throughout multiple departments throughout the organization across various phases and scopes of contract(s). What can HOLT Cat offer you? Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude - ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools
• Strategic thinker with very strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities and creative problem-solving skills
• Desire and ability to innovate and improve upon current processes
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment - composure when under pressure
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Computer and related software knowledge and/or experience, and the ability to learn/use new computer programs
• Knowledge of basic office practices, procedures, and processes
• Understand how to use data visualization tools
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
• Time management and time-critical prioritization skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deal effectively with employees, team members, and management
• Self-starter with and ability to work independently
• Ability to operate office machines and computers
• Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a group of managers, coworkers, customers (internal and external), or the general public
• 2 years of experience working as a Quoter, Estimator; proven experience as an estimator or in a similar position required
• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT's Values-Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
• Monitors, evaluates, and reports the ongoing status of contracts operationally and financially
• Identifies problems, analyzes risk, and improves processes to ensure cost-related standards and/or quality are met
• Gathers and analyzes technical information and specifications to determine requirements for the contract
• Partners with Product Support, Sales, and Operations to provide accurate quotes and executable work orders
• Implements and maintains relevant software used to support accurate data analysis and continuously improve the quoting process
• Maintains key relationships throughout the organization to ensure open lines of communication and collaboration between internal departments
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
