About The Position

Cost Analyst Key Role: Provide comprehensive cost and finan cia l support for DoD acquisition programs with minimal oversight. Develop detailed and defendable cost models that support key milestone decisions. Comprehend program requirements and scope to define estimating Work Breakdown Structures that abide by existing standards. Collaborate with program stakeholders to collect and normalize relevant data and c ond uct risk assessments. Support cost model reviews with government organizations to ensure due diligence and validation of estimating methods.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with cost and pricing analysis
  • Experience with developing presentations to clients that accurately articulate product results and impacts
  • Knowledge of core estimating competencies, including inflation, data normalization, and Work Breakdown Structures
  • Ability to collect and normalize large data sets, including the use of pivot tables and data parsing methods
  • Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive cost models independently
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Earned Value Management practices
  • Experience with data analytical products, including Micro sof t BI or Tableau
  • Knowledge of cost- related Contract Data Requirement List ( CDRL ) products
  • Certified Cost Estimator or Analyst ( CCEA ) Certification
