About The Position

The Cost Analyst position is responsible for creating RFI/RFQ costs for future business, developing feasibility study reports for new investments, and managing CAPEX. This role involves cost planning, tracking, and analyzing the feasibility of new production models to aid management in decision-making. The analyst will also establish long-term business plans, analyze plan vs. actual performance, assess indirect cost rates for profitability calculations, and administer management by objective.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
At least two years of experience in a related field preferred.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, SAP and ERP experience preferred).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Good multi-tasking and time management skills.
Ability to make analytical and logical decisions.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Create RFI/RFQ costs for future business.
Deliver cost information to top management.
Create feasibility study reports for new investments.
Plan and manage CAPEX.
Perform cost planning and track costs for new programs.
Study the feasibility of new production, presenting different models and assisting management in decision-making.
Establish long-term business plans reflecting changes in the business environment (sales forecast, material cost, sourcing, etc.).
Analyze plan vs. actual performance, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions.
Assess indirect cost rates to accurately calculate profitability for different products.
Administer management by objective.
