About The Position

First Quality is seeking a Cost Analyst for our First Quality Home Care Products facility located in Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. Primary responsibilities include: Evaluate work order accounting issues and assist in resolving material receiving and usage issues. Responsible for establishing accurate cost standards for our products. Effectively communicate to leadership inventory revaluation and PPV impacts. Prepare and complete internal cycle counts and cost audits. Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects often working closely with Operations. Supports development of budgets and forecasts with analysis of trends in manufacturing and other related areas. Provide financial and internal control support to a wide range of individuals and departments throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP basic principles and elements of internal controls.
  • Understanding of manufacturing accounting environment.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred, but not required.
