HunaTek is seeking a highly motivated, performance-driven individual with strong cost analysis experience to work on-site with our government client in the Central Florida Research Park area. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills. The Senior Cost Analyst position will include, but not be limited to, performing the full range of cost analyses in evaluation of client programs, to include life cycle cost estimates (LCCE), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and ad hoc cost studies. This role involves leading and managing program office estimate activities, developing Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs), and leading efforts in developing, updating, manipulating, and maintaining cost and affordability models. The analyst will also lead efforts in collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data, build and defend budget requirements, forecast future funding needs, evaluate contracting strategy and courses of action, and conduct planning for acquisition of capabilities. Additionally, the role requires identifying sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions and interface maintenance funding requirements for all affected platforms/systems, managing solution delivery to a baselined schedule, and providing supporting materials for briefings to management at executive and oversight levels. The position requires working autonomously and as part of a team, leading the preparation of briefing materials, and communicating with diverse organizations for data collection, analysis, and results presentation. The analyst will provide thought leadership, demonstrating an understanding of the customer mission and innovative ideas to address business challenges.
