About The Position

As a Senior Cost Analyst supporting Navy acquisitions, you will evaluate data and develop analytical approaches for cost estimation, financial modeling, and program assessment. You will use methods including statistical analysis, cost-benefit analysis, lifecycle cost estimation, and what-if scenario modeling to develop data-driven strategies and actionable insights for Navy clients. The role is located in Washington, DC, and includes leading a team and managing its work and priorities.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience with cost estimating, cost analysis, or financial analysis.
• Experience with data collection and cost model development.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Excel or PowerPoint.
• Experience with Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and inflation or escalation.
• Experience with analysis and estimates supporting government procurement and acquisition processes.
• Experience leading a team, allocating work, and managing team priorities and deadlines.
• Experience identifying cost analysis requirements, developing short- and long-term tasking schedules, providing insights and recommendations from analysis results, and developing high-level briefings.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.

• Experience with business and proposal development.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Ball, Python, R, or AI tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Certified Cost Estimator and Analyst (CCE/A) certification.
