About The Position

As a cost analyst on our team you’ll transform program requirements into data‑driven, defensible cost estimates that will impact how hundreds of millions of dollars are invested throughout the defense system life cycle. You’ll collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan and execute cost data collection, normalize and analyze data, and develop baseline and alternative cost estimates. You will apply analytical techniques such as regression analysis, learning curves, risk and uncertainty analysis to produce credible, comprehensive cost positions. Using data analysis and visualization tools, you will model and clearly communicate results to senior leaders. Your work will help ensure the Navy fields systems on time and with resources aligned to mission needs. Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience with cost estimating, cost analysis, or financial analysis
  • Experience with data collection and cost model development
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Excel or Power Point
  • Experience with Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and inflation or escalation
  • Experience with analysis and estimates supporting government procurement and acquisition processes
  • Experience with leading a team, allocating work, and managing team priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Ball, Python, R, or AI tools
