The purpose of this role is to prepare project cost reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. This involves coordinating cost analysis activities, liaising with project management on cost control matters, conducting site visits for cost reporting review, and evaluating cost escalation and contingencies.

Requirements

• University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 5+ years relevant experience.
• Fully proficient level with full knowledge of the principles and practices within a discipline.
• Work is subject to practices and procedures and may require periodic review with other teams or work groups.
• Due to changing priorities or different situations encountered, the incumbent relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost reports assuming responsibility for their overall accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
• Coordinate the cost analysis activities on one or more projects.
• Liaise with project management on matters relating to cost control.
• Make periodic site visits to review cost reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation of cost escalation and contingencies.
• Working under minimal supervision, able to plan own work and accomplish varied and complex tasks with the ability to discover issues and recommend solutions.
• May assign activities and give technical guidance to a few staff for a common project.
• Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts.
• Continue to develop the ability to influence participation in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports.
• Strong understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field.
• Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues.
