About The Position

Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction in Cost Accounting at its Colangelo College of Business on the Phoenix campus. This course delves into intermediate managerial accounting, covering cost behavior, inventory valuation, budgeting, variance analysis, and performance evaluation using financial and nonfinancial metrics. The role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students, assessing performance, and mentoring students while upholding GCU's mission and values.

Requirements

Masters in Accounting or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
3 years public accounting experience or 5 years corporate accounting experience
Unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

Nice To Haves

PhD/DBA Accounting or Doctorate in a accounting related discipline
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Accounting required if Doctorate is not in a business discipline.
