Cost Accountant
About The Position
The Cost Accountant maintains and controls a computerized cost accounting and inventory system. The role calculates and prepares cost analysis reports on labor, materials, and overhead as required by management, and may prepare cost analysis reports and estimates using historical data. The position implements and complies with cost accounting policies, systems, and procedures. Responsibilities
- Maintain and control a computerized cost accounting and inventory system.
- Calculate and prepare cost analysis reports on labor, materials, overhead, and other items as required by management.
- Prepare cost analysis reports and estimates using historical data, as needed.
- Implement and comply with cost accounting policies, systems, and procedures.
