As a family-owned leader in frozen Italian foods, we continue to grow across our manufacturing operations and are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. If you enjoy working with numbers, analyzing costs, supporting operational decisions, and collaborating across departments, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- MBA or CPA is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with costing and pricing model updates
- Collect and analyze data to develop annual material cost standards
- Support month-end closing activities, including purchase price variance analysis and billings
- Assist with annual budgeting and financial reporting processes
- Prepare data for third-party hedge consultants
- Update monthly management reports and gross sales analysis
- Support year-end audits and financial documentation requests
- Participate in special finance and accounting projects
