About The Position

At Drybar, our philosophy is simple: Focus on one thing and be the best at it. For us that’s blowouts. Our tagline says it all: No cuts. No color. Just blowouts. We are looking for a hair stylist who has amazing hair styling and finishing skills, a desire to provide exceptional service, strong communication skills, drive and motivation, and the ability to work with and be a part of a team. We are looking for candidates to work with a variety of shifts as we are open 7 days a week whether that be full time or part time. We have a 3-4 day training in-shop before letting any new hire take clients. We want each new stylist to feel the most confident with each customer they greet and style. We have shift leads and shop educators that are always in the shop to help with further education and are available to help. We are a team, and we work off rotation. We all work together for the best shop flow. At Drybar, we are family.

Requirements

• A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying.
• Amazing hair styling and finishing skills.
• A desire to provide exceptional service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Drive and motivation.
• Ability to work with and be a part of a team.
• Hardworking and on time.
• Positive and happy demeanor.
• Must have weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

• Cosmetology students are also accepted (must have a valid cosmetology license to work as a hairstylist).

Responsibilities

• Perform blowouts, braids, and updos.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Sell retail products, braids, updos, extensions, and add-on services.
• Participate in team-based work rotation for optimal shop flow.
• Attend and complete paid training for blowouts, braids, and updos.
