About The Position

This position is for our Drybar Fairfax Corner (Fairfax, Virginia) location. We are looking for HIGH-ENERGY stylists for our most HIGH-DEMAND days (FRIDAY-SUNDAY). Our "Weekend Warriors" enjoy exclusive perks such as bonus base pay on Saturdays and Sundays, the highest earning potential for tips and commission, and access to a broader customer base which helps build loyal clientele faster. Drybar Hair Stylists / Cosmetologists also enjoy perks such as commission on retail, braid, updo, extension, & add-on services, paid blowout, braid, and updo training, opportunities for advancement, scheduling flexibility, free services, and a retail discount.

Requirements

• Strong technical proficiency in styling and knowledge of styling tools.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to cater to individual client preferences.
• Ability to listen actively to clients, ask clarifying questions, and explain technical advice clearly to avoid misunderstandings.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Professionalism in appearance and conduct.
• Flexibility and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to be punctual and manage your schedule effectively.
• Ability to work with and be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide blowouts, braids, updos, and other styling services.
• Build strong relationships with clients.
• Contribute to a positive salon experience.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace.
• Learn and adapt to new trends, techniques, and client needs.
