About The Position

Drybar Sarasota is hiring Hair Stylists to join their team. Drybar specializes in blowouts, and is looking for individuals passionate about styling and making clients feel amazing. The role offers hourly wages, tips, bonuses, and commissions on retail and services. Paid training is provided, and flexible schedules are offered, with a requirement of at least two shifts per week (minimum 12 hours), including at least 8 hours of weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday). The work environment is described as fun, high-energy, and stylish.

Requirements

Current and valid Florida cosmetology license.
Passion for styling and finishing hair (blowouts, braids, up-dos).
Ability to deliver exceptional service and make clients feel amazing.
Great communication skills.
Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
Motivated and driven.
Willingness to learn and grow with ongoing training.
Availability to work at least two shifts per week (minimum 12 hours total), including at least 8 hours Saturday and/or Sunday.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality blowouts, updos, braids, and styling services.
Greet clients warmly, consult on desired looks, and ensure client satisfaction.
Build client relationships to encourage repeat visits.
Recommend Drybar retail products to clients.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining styling stations, tools, and the overall shop appearance.
Work collaboratively with stylists, bartenders, and management.
Participate in ongoing training sessions for styling techniques and product knowledge.
Upsell add-on services, memberships, and gift cards.
Arrive on time, prepared, and dressed in Drybar-approved attire.
