Requirements

• A current Arkansas cosmetology license or eligibility to pursue a Registered Hairstylist license through our shop’s training pathway.
• A passion for hairstyling and helping clients feel confident.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and meeting appointment timing expectations.
• Willingness to learn Drybar’s styling techniques, participate in training, and apply feedback.
• A dependable, punctual approach to work and a commitment to supporting the team.
• Availability to work at least one weekend day.
• Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and professional shop standards.

Nice To Haves

• Blowout and styling experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated applicants who are eager to learn and grow with our team.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming experience that leaves every client feeling confident and cared for.
• Conduct consultations to understand each client’s hair, desired style, and service needs.
• Shampoo, blow-dry, and style hair following Drybar’s Anatomy of a Blowout, styling standards, and Stylist Non-Negotiables.
• Complete standard blowout appointments within 45 minutes while maintaining quality and an exceptional client experience.
• Educate clients on the products and techniques used during their service.
• Recommend appropriate treatments, add-ons, retail products, styling tools, and memberships.
• Maintain clean, organized stations and properly clean and sanitize tools between clients.
• Contribute to daily shop tasks, including sweeping, laundry, dishes, restocking, and opening and closing duties.
• Communicate clearly with bartenders, fellow stylists, and leadership to keep appointments running smoothly.
• Participate in training and team meetings, welcome feedback, and use downtime to practice and strengthen styling skills.
• Arrive on time, meet scheduling commitments, and contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
