About The Position

This position is located at Drybar Fairfax Corner (Fairfax, Virginia). We are looking for HIGH-ENERGY stylists for our most HIGH-DEMAND days (FRIDAY-SUNDAY). Our "Weekend Warriors" enjoy exclusive perks such as bonus base pay on Saturdays and Sundays, the highest earning potential for tips and commission, and access to a broader customer base which helps build loyal clientele faster. Drybar Hair Stylists / Cosmetologists also enjoy perks such as a pay range of $28 to $35 per hour including tips, commission on retail, braid, updo, extension, & add-on services, paid blowout, braid, and updo training, opportunities for advancement, scheduling flexibility, free services, and a retail discount.

Requirements

• Strong technical proficiency in styling and knowledge of styling tools
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to cater to individual client preferences
• Ability to listen actively to clients, ask clarifying questions, and explain technical advice clearly to avoid misunderstandings
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service, build strong relationships with clients, and contribute to a positive salon experience
• Professionalism in appearance, conduct, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace
• Flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends, techniques, and the diverse needs of our clients
• Ability to be punctual and to manage your schedule effectively
• Ability to work with and be part of a team
• Must be available to work high-demand days, specifically Friday-Sunday
