About The Position

The Spa is seeking a Cosmetologist/Esthetician to perform a variety of services for guests. This role involves direct guest interaction, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability on holidays and weekends, as the spa operates seven days a week. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, professional, and possess strong communication and retail skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be able to express information clearly and communicate in a personable and professional manner
• Must be a West Virginia licensed Cosmetologist
• Must be self-motivated and able to assume responsibility and behave professionally with guests and coworkers

Nice To Haves

• Experience in cosmetology, esthetics, pedicures, facials, and retail
• Strong retail skills
• Willingness to work as a team
• Must be knowledgeable of products and their benefits

Responsibilities

• Perform manicures, pedicures and facials
• Perform body and facial waxing
• Demonstrate product knowledge, including ingredients, contraindications, and skin types
• Light maintenance and cleaning of immediate work space
• Assist with putting away linen and supplies
• Sanitation of work stations and equipment in accordance with WV cosmetology sanitation standards
