Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or cosmetic clinic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical-grade skincare lines and cosmetic treatment options considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact to all patients, addressing cosmetic consultation services by visiting patient rooms and addressing any questions or concerns, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Conduct pre-treatment consultations with patients that involve physical examinations, before and after images, measurements, and ordering diagnostic testing. Collaborate closely with the Cosmetic Prvoider to determine candidacy, confirm quotations, and follow up on patient quotes.
  • Maintain a thorough consultation process, ensuring cross-referrals from other providers are considered.
  • Collaborate with the Cosmetic Provider and scheduling team to organize upcoming patient appointments to ensure positive patient experiences.
  • Gather patient information during consultations and initiate booking.
  • Educate patients on cosmetic processes and follow up with them post-treatment.
  • Host necessary and informative pre-appointment calls to consult with patients about scheduled upcoming visits.
  • If alternative appointment arrangements such as virtual consults are required for out-of province and out of-country patients, the Cosmetic Consultant will be responsible for coordinating technology for those calls.
  • Cosmetic administration tasks such as inventory management, coordinating and following up on lab tests, record keeping and filing, scheduling, and patient documentation management.
  • Support the Cosmetic Provider if a delay in the schedule occurs, meeting with patients to maintain communication.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management and the supervisory team.
