The Cosmetic Beauty Advisor reports to the Sales Team Manager/Store Manager and ensures the uniform execution of the Belk direction within their store. This role is responsible for meeting or exceeding personal sales per hour goals, being a role model for excellent selling skills and customer service, and executing successful promotions and special events. The advisor will drive sales through customer clienteling and work with store management to optimize business to business opportunities, while also identifying and reducing shrinkage in their area. Additionally, they are responsible for meeting or exceeding credit application goals, thanking each customer by name, handling transactions efficiently and accurately, and providing a high level of customer service to support Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSS). Building a customer clientele base and protecting customer information are also key responsibilities. General responsibilities include maintaining floor and stock areas to store standards, unpacking new merchandise, ensuring timely set-up for promotional events, following procedures for all systems, and maintaining professional dress standards. Cooperation with fellow associates and management, and compliance with store policies are expected. The advisor will also accept additional duties and assist with non-sell duties as assigned.
