About The Position

Operate the transfer cart to load machines and export all sheet orders out. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of stock/units to converting machines, requiring constant movement of the cart and units. The position also includes examining products for quality, completing production and safety reports, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Knowledge of product quality specifications
• Knowledge equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operation of Buggy/Transfer Car on Track between machines.
• Operates the Buggy/Transfer Car by picking up units of sheets/board from the Corrugator Machine.
• Delivery of appropriate stock/units to the appropriate converting machines safely and on time.
• Buggy/Transfer Cart Operation requires constant movement of cart using Forward and Backward Movement of the Cart and movement of units left and right from and to the various machine centers.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: production data, machine operational status, safety data, quality data.
