About The Position

This role is for a Corrugator Supervisor on the 2nd shift. The primary responsibility is direct supervision of one assigned shift of hourly employees. The supervisor will be responsible for leading, directing, and ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and engagement to meet goals. This includes supervising employees in the daily production of corrugated board, training, planning, assigning work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, promoting safety, quality, production, and teamwork, and resolving conflicts. The supervisor is expected to lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance to work efficiently and effectively, while ensuring a safe work environment and a quality product. Effective communication of operational information in both oral and written format at all levels is crucial, including crew members, other supervisors, plant management, office personnel, and outside customers and vendors. The role actively promotes and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs and initiatives. This is primarily a night shift position, with other duties as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry is preferred
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervisor to one assigned shift of hourly employees.
