About The Position

The Corrugator Supervisor is a Salaried Full-Time position on the Night Shift (7pm – 7am) in a 24/7 facility located in Bowling Green, KY. The role involves direct supervision of an assigned shift of hourly employees, with responsibility for leadership in safety, quality, productivity, and engagement to ensure goals are met. The supervisor will promote and monitor workplace safety practices, production schedules, machine performance, and operational efficiency. This role includes providing direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback to employees, as well as monitoring product quality and collaborating with quality and maintenance teams to resolve issues. Maintaining accurate production records and leading/motivating employees by example are key aspects of the position. Effective communication and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs are also essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of one assigned shift of hourly employees.
  • Ensure goals are met through supervision, direction, and leadership in safety, quality, productivity, and engagement.
  • Support and promote workplace safety practices, monitoring adherence to safety procedures.
  • Effectively communicate safety expectations and address safety concerns promptly.
  • Monitor production schedules, machine performance, downtime, speed, waste, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead operational troubleshooting efforts.
  • Provide direction, coaching, training, and support to production employees.
  • Provide clear expectations, performance feedback, and accountability.
  • Monitor product quality indicators.
  • Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.
  • Partner with maintenance teams to support equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production, downtime, waste, and labor records.
  • Lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude, and performance.
  • Effectively communicate operational information in both oral and written format at all levels.
  • Actively promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other programs and initiatives.
