About The Position

The Corrugated Packaging Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining corrugated packaging machinery to produce high-quality corrugated boxes and packaging products. This role ensures production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret production orders, specifications, and basic technical documents.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or corrugated packaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate corrugated packaging equipment and gluing machines.
Set up machines according to production specifications and work orders.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
Inspect finished products for compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
Accurately record production data, downtime, waste, and quality checks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and team members to resolve production issues.
Assist with material handling, inventory management, and changeovers between production runs.
