About The Position
This role is for a Corrosion Engineer, New Grad. The position involves working on a team with mentorship from BGE employees, attending career development events and training, and working on assigned projects to meet deadlines and expand knowledge.
Requirements
- Before starting employment, must have a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or a related field
- For Engineering disciplines, must have passed or be eligible to sit for the FE exam by the time of graduation
- Strong proficiency with business software (MS Office) and ability to learn industry-specific software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong, positive collaborator who works well on a team
- Willingness and ability to work in a BGE office
Nice To Haves
- Coursework in corrosion, electrochemistry, materials, electrical systems, or fluid/pipeline systems is a plus
