In this role, the Corrosion Coordinator/EIT is required to have a basic understanding of corrosion mechanisms and materials science and will support projects in the office and in the field. Office work consists of preparing for field work, compiling field data, as well as writing reports and technical memorandums. Field work consists of performing assessments on pipelines and concrete structures associated with the water, wastewater, and transportation industries. Field work includes entering confined spaces, working near traffic, and working in wastewater structures. The Corrosion Coordinator/EIT will also be expected to frequently travel nationally for field work. This role will receive classroom and hands-on training to be able to perform field work properly and in a safe manner and support the following duties:
