We are currently seeking Corrosion Control Technician Under Instruction (U/I) (Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E)) to support our customers in customers in Mayport, Florida.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Related military experience or trade/industrial school graduate and/or trade experience.
AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level 2).
Must currently hold and maintain a Secret security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Approximately five (5) years of experience in the corrosion control field supporting U.S. Navy ship and submarine maintenance.
Experience with processes and requirements as they pertain to shipboard organizational level corrosion control maintenance of HM&E systems and ships structure.
Experience with surface preparation tools, corrosion control techniques, coating system application tools and coating systems used on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
Experience with new corrosion control technologies and how they may be implemented on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
