About The Position

Gateway Rehab Centers has a wonderful opportunity for a Part-time Corrections Monitor located in Erie, PA. As a Monitor, you will provide custody and control functions for patients enrolled at the center. This position requires mandatory staffing coverage when necessary to provide a safe treatment environment for Gateway patients.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid training.
• Pass PA Department of Corrections Clean Check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and favorable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass PA Criminal Background Check
• Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
• Pass Drug TB Test
• Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient movement into and out of the facility.
• Maintains daily logs.
• Maintains knowledge of all facility rules, regulations, and policies.
• Conducts intakes and participates in the orientation of new patients.
• Conducts patient drug screening.
• Makes telephone contact with employers to verify patient movement.
• Makes telephone contact with families/friends of patients granted furloughs.
• Conducts random room searches.
• Transports patients as needed.
• Dispenses authorized prescription medications to patients.
