About The Position
Personnel in this classification perform skilled professional corrections work in the supervision of adult offenders in multiple correctional facilities, ranging from maximum to minimum security. Oversees and controls security functions and activities related to the care, custody, and well-being of inmates. The work involves an element of personal danger and physical exertion. The employee must be able to make independent decisions and exercise independent judgment in responding to emergencies. Pursuant to bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) provisions, only female applicants will be considered for this role.
