About The Position
The Correctional Medicine Nurse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day flow of the nursing department, nurse scheduling, serving as the point of communication between the provider/corrections manager and nursing staff, maintaining log books, ensuring staff are following protocols set forth by CRMC & CC jail, and assisting the provider as needed.
Requirements
- Correctional nursing experience.
- Experience in a management or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of CRMC & CC jail protocols.
- Ability to assist providers.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day flow of the nursing department.
- Oversee nurse scheduling.
- Act as the primary point of communication between the provider/corrections manager and nursing staff.
- Maintain log books.
- Ensure nursing staff adhere to protocols set forth by CRMC & CC jail.
