About The Position

This position is for a Corrector (Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor) for the Introduction to Quantum Mechanics course (PHY3770) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves grading quizzes, assignments, and mid-term exams. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate, while graduate students will receive a higher rate. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
