The Corps Ministries Assistant supports the daily ministry and administrative operations of the church, with primary responsibility for coordinating and planning the church’s music programs and assisting with the financial recordkeeping of the Corps. This position works closely with the Corps Officers, church leadership, musicians, volunteers, and other ministry leaders to ensure that worship and music programs are organized, prepared, and effective. The Corps Ministries Assistant is also responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with the bookkeeping needs of the church. The ideal candidate should be organized, dependable, comfortable working with both people and financial information, and committed to supporting the mission and ministry of the church. The Corps Ministries Assistant should demonstrate professionalism, integrity, dependability, and a servant-minded approach to ministry. The individual should support the mission, values, and ministry objectives of the church and work cooperatively with Corps Officers, staff, volunteers, and congregation members. Because this position involves access to church financial information and ministry operations, the Corps Ministries Assistant is expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality, accountability, and trust.
