About The Position

UMB’s Corporate Trust and Escrow Services provides bond trustee and agency services to corporate and municipal markets, as well as escrow-related, custodial, and verification services. The Corporate Trust Associate Relationship Manager supports the Corporate Trust team by partnering with Relationship Managers and working with clients to deliver a strong customer experience. The role provides administrative support to existing corporate trust clients, responds to client inquiries, and assists the Relationship Management team with performance data, record keeping, coordination with operations staff, communication with custodian banks and client staff, and resolution of administrative and operational issues. The role may expand in client contact and task complexity, and includes cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles. The team describes its work environment as collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Five or more years of related work experience.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with Relationship Managers to provide administrative support to Corporate Trust clients.
Respond to client inquiries and assist the Relationship Management team.
Compile performance data and maintain records.
Coordinate activities with operations staff.
Work with custodian banks and client staff.
Identify and resolve administrative and operational problems.
Use Microsoft products and UMB systems to maintain records and execute client requests with attention to detail.
Communicate with client teams and internal groups to identify and provide solutions.
Participate in cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles.
