About The Position

Corporate Trainer - Make an Impact Through Learning Position Summary If you’re motivated, creative, and love a challenge, this role gives you the chance to create and lead dynamic training and make a lasting impact every day. The Corporate Trainer is a critical member of the Training Team, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging training solutions for both new and existing employees across frontline and back-office departments. This role goes beyond facilitation it requires full-cycle learning and development ownership, from collaborating on cross-functional projects to designing original content and managing system configurations. Trainers work closely with internal departments, senior leadership, and project teams to ensure all materials and training strategies are accurate, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience corporate training, instructional design, or learning & development role
  • Financial institution experience (credit union or banking preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate live and virtual training sessions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a financial services environment (teller, lending, or back-office)
  • Experience using instructional design software (e.g., iSpring, Articulate, Adobe Captivate)
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and training evaluation methods

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor-led training (classroom and virtual) for both frontline and back-office employees, including: Teller transactions, account services, consumer lending, real estate lending System navigation, policy/procedure adherence, member experience, and compliance
  • Facilitate weekly training webinars and recurring refresher sessions
  • Lead assigned new hire groups through onboarding and certification (90–120 days), including monitoring transaction quality, knowledge retention, and performance
  • Schedule, coordinate, and prepare training sessions (manuals, materials, swag, technology setup, etc.)
  • Design and develop all training materials in-house, including: Training manuals, eLearning courses, presentations, job aids, guides, and visual assets
  • Translate complex or technical information into clear, engaging learning content
  • Develop and maintain eLearning courses using instructional design tools (e.g., iSpring, Articulate, Adobe Captivate)
  • Configure and manage learning modules and user access in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Participate in organizational projects from the initial planning phase through implementation
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal departments, and senior management to understand needs, gather content, and develop training solutions
  • Represent the Training Department in project meetings and planning discussions
  • Ensure materials are accurate, reviewed, and approved by relevant departments
  • Configure training systems and set up user access for new hires
  • Manage account maintenance tasks such as password resets, user unlocks, and employee system adds/removals
  • Maintain the Training Department’s intranet page with current materials and updates
  • Respond to communications through email, Teams, and phone calls professionally and promptly
