About The Position

The Corporate Trainer is responsible for collaborating with business leaders, managers, and team members across the organization to develop employee knowledge, skills, and performance. Duties include organizing and facilitating training programs, delivering onboarding and ongoing learning initiatives, supporting employees with professional development, and partnering with leadership to identify, implement, and evaluate training solutions that meet organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in teaching, communication or a related field
  • At least four years of relevant professional level training experience
  • Proven experience effectively communicating complex information in a clear and concise method to groups of employees achieving high-quality results
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, facilitation, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone
  • Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating Systems and Programs and proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • High degree of competence in working with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
  • Strong customer service and relationship building and maintenance skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Superior organization, planning skills, time management and prioritization with the ability to multi-task and work well with changing priorities and under pressure in a dynamic, team environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure provided training meets onboarding needs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Training Manager in coordinating and delivering training to Team Members on company systems, processes, product knowledge, employee development, and required compliance programs.
  • Collaborate with and support the Learning Content Specialist to develop, suggest edits, evaluate, and maintain learning materials such as manuals, presentations, guides, handouts, videos, eLearning modules, job aids, and training resources focused on systems, processes, product knowledge, employee development, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee training records.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company products and maintain global knowledge of company systems as they relate to procedures, workflow, and training effectiveness.
  • Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Exhibit and adhere to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.
  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
