About The Position

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to lead U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, and intercompany coordination. This role works closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Group Tax (Sweden), and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting and effective tax processes across Saab’s growing U.S. operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA required; MST, or other advanced tax credentials preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive corporate tax experience in industry or public accounting, ideally within a large multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state corporate taxation, transfer pricing, and international tax concepts.
  • Experience managing tax audits and coordinating with external advisors.
  • Familiarity with ERP and tax systems (e.g., Oracle, IFS, ONESOURCE, CCH).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
  • Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense or other regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting multiple legal entities within a centralized or global tax function.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of indirect tax and cross‑border tax compliance.
  • Exposure to project‑based or contract‑driven business models.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance, international information reporting, quarterly estimates, cash tax forecasting, and tax account reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate tax reporting across ERP systems, tax software, and corporate reporting processes; support IRS, state, and international tax audits.
  • Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation, support intercompany transactions and allocations, and review agreements for tax implications.
  • Provide tax guidance on business initiatives, international operations, M&A transactions, R&D credits, FDII, and other tax planning and incentive opportunities.
  • Oversee indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, sales/use tax, withholding, and foreign tax registrations in coordination with global tax teams and external advisors.
  • Leverage ERP and tax technologies to enhance compliance, reporting, analytics, and process efficiency.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc tax reporting for internal stakeholders, auditors, and corporate tax leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and external advisors to integrate tax considerations into business decisions and communicate complex tax matters effectively.
