The Corporate Tax Advisor works directly with Members to understand their financial situation and deliver tailored tax strategies that minimize taxes in both the short and long term. This role is responsible for independently preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, advising on complex tax matters, and identifying planning opportunities that support Members' business and personal financial objectives. In addition to tax preparation and planning, the Senior Corporate Tax Advisor introduces Members to FBC's full range of services, including bookkeeping, payroll, legal assistance, and access to financial and estate planning professionals. Support may also include estate planning, retirement planning, and cash flow management as Member needs arise. The successful candidate will be a client-focused tax professional with demonstrated experience handling corporate tax compliance and planning for large and complex corporate structures. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to navigate unique and challenging tax situations while providing practical, strategic advice. The ideal candidate can work independently, take ownership of complex files from start to finish, and build lasting Member relationships through trusted guidance and exceptional service. This position is reporting into our FBC Barrie, ON location. You will be expected to report to the Barrie office as required.
