About The Position

LayerZero is seeking a skilled Corporate Systems Engineer to join their rapidly growing team in their Vancouver office. The engineer will join the Security & Corporate Engineering team at LayerZero Labs to implement, facilitate, and operate secure systems within the company. The Security & Corporate Engineering team exists as a force multiplier that provides leverage for all teams, and they are looking for a high agency team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Corporate Engineering, Enterprise Engineering, IT or systems engineering with a track record of building reliable systems that scale with our growth
• Security minded approach to problem solving
• Experienced with building with GitOps and infrastructure as code
• Deep understanding of macOS, and how it is managed and secured
• Experience working within cloud native environments and a range of SaaS tools
• Experience with automation, SSO, IdPs, MDM, and patch management

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience or knowledge within the crypto space is a bonus, but not a requirement

Responsibilities

• Operate and harden our MDM, endpoint configurations, security baselines and device posture checks.
• Create and maintain integrations across identity providers and SaaS platforms
• Identify friction and inefficiencies and resolve them through thoughtful and low-disruption improvements
• Replace manual administrative changes with auditable infrastructure as code, automation, and drift detection
