Corporate Sustainability Intern (Fall/September 2026, 8 Months)
About The Position
Geotab is seeking a Sustainability Intern to work closely with the Corporate Sustainability team. This role involves actively contributing to corporate sustainability initiatives by assisting with the improvement of sustainability performance tracking processes. The intern will gain experience in research, data analysis, and supporting the development of resources for sustainability-focused decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to refine tools and processes, and assisting in the planning and implementation of key projects within the organization's sustainability roadmap are also key aspects of this role. Requirements
- Currently in the final year(s) of a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field, or with some prior internship or hands-on experience in Sustainability.
- Basic understanding of Corporate Sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. CDP, EcoVadis, GRI)
- High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly organized
- Strong team player
Responsibilities
- Assist the Corporate Sustainability team in implementing key sustainability initiatives that contribute to Geotab’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
- Enhance employee engagement in sustainability efforts through educational initiatives and clear communication of Geotab's sustainability strategy.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate sustainability progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the tracking of Geotab’s sustainability performance across various frameworks, including CDP and EcoVadis.
- Contribute to the development of internal dashboards to visualize key sustainability metrics.
- Conduct research on industry-leading sustainability practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation at Geotab.
- Assist with various project administration tasks, including event coordination and the creation of communication materials.
