About The Position

UW Health is seeking a Corporate Strategy Planning Consultant who combines strong data and analytical skills with executive-level strategic and business planning facilitation capabilities. The position may be performed remotely if the employee resides in a state approved for remote work by UW Health.

The consultant conducts advanced financial and business modeling, including use of SQL and Excel, and translates findings into actionable insights. The role also performs market research and analysis to inform strategic priorities, business decisions, and planning, and supports senior leaders through strategic and business planning, including process development, facilitation, and synthesis of recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Experience in consulting (internal or external).
• Experience in group facilitation.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in strategic, business, and/or operational planning.
• Experience in financial analysis and/or budget or pro forma development.
• Experience in new program, service, or product planning and development.
• Experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations.
• Experience compiling market research, managing data, conducting analysis, and/or working with statistics.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Experience facilitating or leading process change.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and/or programs that drive the planning and execution of business strategy and business development activities.
• Demonstrated experience in business analytics to assess and develop strategic solutions for complex business opportunities and programs across a matrixed organization.
• Broad knowledge of modern health care administration practices and principles within a managed care environment and/or an academic medical center.
